How do you make income while dedicating your life to helping others, such as ending hunger or abuse?

Lets say I want to be a Philanthropist full time, how do they make money to live on while they go around making the world a better place? Are there some organizations that can help? Lets say I wanted to come up with a plan to end hunger/feed the hungry and help the homeless, how would someone go about doing that plus earning a living? Also if you know of people who have accomplished this or a website that has their stories let me know thanks.

they dont make money.  That is the self sacrifice of philanthropists isnt it?   Usually its people who are already rich that do this, and they give their money away.  you dont make money being a philanthropist.

:You know what, you could consider becoming a Dentist or A Dental Hygienist.   I am a Hygienist and I see sooo many people who are very under educated in regards to Dental health and health in general.  We see all types of patients from wealthy to poor.  Children who don't have a lot are soo appreciative of us just giving them a new toothbrush.  You can also go on mission trips to other countrys with your Dentist and it is very rewarding.  Every day I go to work, I help someone.  We see so many patients who are very afraid of a Dentist.  I enjoy comforting them, helping them, teaching them about their dental health.  Great job !!!  Pays excellent.  Some Hygienist make 90,000. 00 a year or more and you usually work a 4 day week at the most.

you could try starting a 5013c non-profit organization...this allows you to collect donations without being taxed.
