How do you make mixing medium at home ?

I have heard that mixing medium is good for loose eyeshadows......

I have also seen some videos on youtube saying that you can mix 1 teaspoon of glycerin and 3 teaspoons of purified water ...but I am not sure that what do they mean by purified water ?

can I use the normal tap water ? or should I use the bottled mineral water ?

Purified would be like, bottled water. You might not want to use normal tap water because of the impurities, but the difference wouldn't really be THAT significant.

Yes mixing medium is awesome, and purified water means that it clean, and probably best if you are going to be putting this product on your eyes.  Check out this site for the receipe.
