How do you make money if you are good at what you do, but don't seem to be able to make it. at age 40...help..

i work hard, have a good or even excellent work ethic.

but cannot seem to earn a decent living.

  1. I don't know what you do but most employers are willing to pay a premium for reliable workers who do a good job. If all that applies to you, ask your boss for a raise. If he doesn't follow through, look for another job.


  2. Become an electrician, or mechanic, or carpenter, or plumber, or any trade at all.

  3. If you are good at what you do, but can't make money at it, then what you do doesn't have enough monetary value.

    You're going to have to learn to do something else, more in demand, and with a higher value in the market place.
