How do you make more income as a yoga instructor?

My friend is struggling to make ends meet as a yoga instructor. How can she build her clientele or what other things could she do to make more income as a professional in this field?

Has she not been reading all the many accounts of how people are flocking to classes in facial yoga exercises? They are all the rage and some are fully booked. I  learned the exercises in a couple of days and they really do work in rejuvenating the face and neck. Most of those teaching facial yoga are also teaching classical yoga. Well thats all well and fine if Yoga was a commodity or product that was created to market and sell to the masses and make lots of money for the Yoga Instructor, but it is not a commodity or a product, and Yoga Instructorship is not a profession, it is a spiritual vocation, like being a pastor or monk.  

Yoga is sacred spiritual pathwork towards self-realization and mergence into God-Consciousness. The western world has bastardized it's first, original and only true value: the scriptual yogas of the Vedic Sanatana Dharma are spiritual practices taught without regard to compensationo by holy beings, saints, gurus and monks/swamis from ashrams and temples of Hinduism and its denominations, such as Kashmir Shaiva or Buddhism. Yoga is a spiritual practice, not power this or baby that or lion face whatever.

Your 'friend' had better get their priorities straight and find a job. Yoga Instructors should be teaching as a higher calling from God and not focus on the money. That goes for Mukunda the guy hocking yoga as a cosmetic surgery substitute. Smells like a well researched, studied and investigated scam: selling yoga as a cosmetic fix! What will they fabricate next!

2- Distribute these reports to the current clients, schools, advertise, in your yellow page ads, senior citizen centers,

3- Open up a yoga for kids program

4-Create specific Weight Loss  yoga class

5- Create a yoga program for seniors

These reports can even become full books on the subject or ebooks that can be sold on line.

6- do free topic specfic yoga seminars in the biggest local library, senior citizen centers

7- Come up with corporate yoga program. Promote it to health care departments of local corporations. They can sponsor programs for their employees as a benefit.

Become the expert, the source of yoga in your area.

Yoga is great but if you want to hit the masses you must repurpose it. Like Lose Weight...
