Question:

How do you make one thing in a picture on Adobe Photoshop in color while the rest of it is in black and white?

I've been trying to make one color, such as eye color or a flower, stick out in my photo while leaving the other part of the picture black&white. I know there is a way to do this, but I don't know if there is a way to do it on Photoshop. I use Photoshop for everything having to do with my pictures and I never have hit a snag. This is the only thing I can't seem to figure out. Help?!

  1. Duplicate the layer, convert the top layer to B&W, change the opacity of the top layer so you can see both layers, erase the parts you want color from the top layer, adjust the top layer opacity and merge.
