Last time I made them they were not cooked on the inside and I was wondering how to cook them throughout. If it helps, they were chocolate chip pancakes.

  1. Keep them on the griddle. Also your batter may have been to thick.

  2. When you see the edge of the pancake become light brown, then you should see bubbles on top of the pancake batter.  It is then time to flip over.  Try searching foodnetwork.com for Paula's Home Cooking pancake recipe(s).  You will enjoy the site!

  3. sounds like you need to lower the heat a bit, and cook a minute or two longer.

  4. well, you leave them on the griddle until they are cooked.  pretty straight-forward actually.

Pour batter, when bubbles form in batter, flip pancake, cook until done.

  5. Put them on a hot griddle, when bubbles form (air pockets really) flip, then leave on about one-one and half minutes, until brown.

For an electric stove I use medium heat. Then I put butter one it once the butter melts about thirty seconds after I put the batter on.

  6. Make them runnier like with more milk/liquid and when you pour the batter make it a lesser amount in the pan because the thinner the pancake the higher the likelihood of it being cooked all the way through but.... increases chances of being burnt so watch them while they cook!!

  7. When you put them in the pan time it and soon as it starts to bubble on top flip them over look at the time and cook them for the same time as the first side took.

  8. well what i do is when you flip them the first time i flatten them with the flipper and then i take a tooth pick and poke it in the middle when it get like a dark brown and if there is gooy stuff on it..its not done...but if you dont like them flat then just flip them a few times until they get brown or dark brown and do the toothpick thing.

  9. Very easy:

When the top side is covered with bubbles, it is time to flip it over.

  10. You don't turn them over until you see the middle start to bubble a little.   Then turn them and check to make sure the under side is light brown before taking them off the griddle.
