How do you make pictures in your head?

How do you form pictures in your head like you're watching a movie. I never knew how to do this.

It's really sort of hard to explain. Just imagine an image, and I don't know, you can just...half see it

There are people who think purely in pictures (I almost always do) and some who can only think in words...Start by trying to picture something, like "bear". Now imagine a bear swimming. It takes a while but you will get it :)

also if you are someone who usually thinks with words, then you should shut your eyes. It will help you focus on making a picture rather then being distracted by the things around you.
