How do you make "motion icons"?

Question

Okay, for a while now I've been trying to figure out how to make a "motion icon." Not like the ones with pictures, but ones of an action sequence. Here's an example: http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm124/kryzmolienchenis94/thThe-William-Beckett-01387.gif

The correct terminology would be "animated .gif"  GIF Construction Set is a great little program.  Goto download.com and search for animated gif.
