  1. well design a LEAF template and cut our BILLIONS of leaves with this template (or maybe get the kids to do 5 each by themselves, could even have their name on or something.and perhaps get some leaves from outside to show how the veins on leaves should be drawn)

Then get some stiff green garden twine and wrap the bottom section of each leaf around the twine, staple it so that the staple clamps to the twine and the leaf.

then bend the leaf backwards so it bends outwards and covers the staple. do this all up the twine then snake the twine around the room.

  2. Get a bunch of muslin.  Tear them into small, but long, sections.  Something like 2 inches thick.  Get some kind of forest green dye, or make some using a little bit of dark green paint, possibly mixed with brown, and a lot of water.  After you do that, and those dry, get a few different shades of green, lighter, darker, middle colors, and spatter paint over them.  This is just dipping your brush in the paint, and hitting the brush against your hand, allowing the drops to fall on your vines.  Let that dry.  You can be done right there if you want, but  you can add jungle like flowers on some of them if you wanted.  At that point it's all up to you, but that's what I would do.

  3. I would look at a craft/floral store and check out the vines/ivy.  You can sometimes find those items at discount stores too.  If you got different kinds with color variations, it would look more "jungle-like".  Also, you can take brown butcher paper, twist it, pin to the wall and ceiling among the vines/ivy.  I wouldn't spend a lot of time cutting leaves, you will be doing that until June!
