How do you make really good paper airplanes ?

depends what you mean by good.

fly well, or look smart?

one that flies really well is this.

take a sheet of a4 paper, reasonably thick.

fold in half lengthways, crease and unfold.

fold two corners to the centre line, making a point.

fold the new folds to the centre line, making the point narrower.

fold the plane in half, down the fold made first.

fold the wings out, nice and big.

turn the edges of the wings upwards, just about a finger width
