What can you put on the end of the scrolls so you can't see the wood ends ( or what ever you use), to help finish them off, so they look like a million dollars. Thank you once again

  1. For the scroll paper, there are many rubber stamp ink pads out there you can use to distress the paper's appearance. If you have the short sides of the scroll glued to wooden dowels leave enough showing on each end and put on a wooden finial.  That's like a fancy wooden bead usually found on the top center of a lamp.  Or just use a fancy wooden bead! You could also finish it off with tassels.

  2. I wouldn't really but anything on the ends, but if this is for a school project you can sponge some tea on the paper and the carefully burn the edges.  If you have a real scroll definately don't do that lol.  But it makes any document for an english or history class look very authentic.
