How do you make bunnies and stuff like that? Are there any others then the bunny?

  1. Two ways:

    1. There are some fonts that are made up of nothing but special characters (such as Wingdings 1, 2, and 3).  It depends on which fonts you have installed with Word, so just browse through the list; Wingdings is the most famous font group with special characters.

    2. Try inserting symbols.  For all versions of Microsoft Word except 2007, try Insert > Symbol.  For 2007, click on the "Insert" tab, and click on the "Symbols" button, and click "More symbols."  Scroll through the dialog box and see what if you find what you like.


  2. to make the "ASCII Avatars" that you're talking about, you have to use a trial and error system, because you are using different characters, such as the \ | [ ] { } ( ) &*^%$<,.>/ and the like.

    If you find trial and error to be to much, just search for them in google
