How do you make that punch with the sherbert?

I know you add 2, 2-liter bottles of ginger ale, 7-up, or Sprite, to a punch bowl with a carton of sherbert. What is the other ingredient? Seems like it was red. Cranberry juice cocktail? Fruit punch? I don't remember. My wedding is over now, but I'm still racking my brain! Thanks!

2  2 liter bottles 7 up (I've seen it made with ginger ale & sprite also)

1/2 gallon container of lime sherbert

1 large can pineapple juice

I've never had it with "red" other than frozen strawberries that you can float on top.  (I would freeze the fresh ones with greenery still attached - washed of course)  and some frozen pineapple rings with the frozen strawberries if you would like.

I like the added frozen fruit for decoration and to keep it cool as the sherbert melts pretty fast especially if your 7-up isn't chilled.

Yes it has fruit punch in it....can even use the fruit Hawaiian punch; and vodka if you want to spike it..

Nope... thats it!  My mom LOVES making that stuff.  The reason its looks so red, is because almost all sherberts have raspberry, and that red dye kind over powers the green or orange.   My mom sometimes throws in sliced fruti for flair - she's special like that.

I use those ingredients and also add a big can of pineapple juice.
