How do you make the best out of high school?

Today was my first day of high school, and I am not excited at all. I was looking forward to this day for as long as I can remember and now that it is here, I am really hating it. I don't like any boys at this school and I have the same friends as last year. Which I'm not saying there not great. I just really want to know what would make high school more fun for me. I really want this to be a time I look back on and have fond memories of. Please help me. How did you make high school fun?

join a club your school might have. you can meet new people or you friends could join you also. something my friends and i do is: we write in one notebook about anything. its just like writing a regular note to them but you just keep it in the book. when you get older you can look back on what you wrote about. i think it is a great idea. my friends and i have done this since 8th grade and we are all seniors now. about the boy situation....you never know who you are going to like. if you get to know someone very well you could probably start to like them. good luck with high school and don't stress so much. it was only the first day. you have 3 more years of high school left
