How do you make the countdown things?

You know, in many forums, there are those little bars underneath the post which says something like 'Kate is 2 years, 3 weeks and 1 day', or something like that. How do you do that? Is there a special website? Sorry if my question doesn't make sense lol!

lots of myspace layout sites have them under the genorator section.  i know for sure that pimpmyprofile.com has them
