How do you make the machine gun sound with your mouth?

almost everyone i know knows how to do it, i'm doing everything they tell me to do in order to do it, but i just can't figure out how to make the noise. can anyone help with this?

hard to explain.... act like ur gargleing with ur mouth but dont look up. best i can explain.
