  1. i make the best coffee but i cant tell you how its a secret :P lol

kidding i just get my coffee from starbucks

  2. good question

    i wish i knew.

Go to royal farms, they have really good coffee.

  3. In a standard coffee pot, measure 6 cups of water in pot, pour in, and measure 3 heaping tbsp coffee and put in filter. Makes good, strong, but not too strong coffee.

  4. Alton Brown is AWESOME, so if you're using his methods, you're probably on the right track... I haven't seen the good eats coffee episode, so I'll tell you how I get a great cup :)

Start with good, FRESH beans - I buy from local shops that roast their own organic fair trade beans daily, and I usually get a french or italian roast.

Make sure you have the right grind for the brewing method you're using - you want coarse for french press, finer for a drip machine.  If you can get it ground at the store, that's good - if you can grind it yourself at home right before you brew it, that's better, but you need to invest in a good grinder, one that gives you control over the fineness/coarseness.  I bought a burr grinder for my kitchen - it was a little pricey, but well worth it - I grind just what I need, fresh every time.

I use a french press or an aeropress (http://www.aerobie.com/Products/aeropres... - the aeropress makes AMAZING coffee - and only brew as much as I'm going to drink.   If I have more than 4 people to serve, I'll make a drip pot, but that's rare.  Moka pots are also great (but I don't have one) - and most home espresso machines won't get you a good cup unless you've got a high-end (expensive) one.

When I brew, I make sure to let the water cool a for about a minute after boiling, too-hot water makes the coffee not as good.  Also, I usually use filtered water, even though I'm boiling it.

Finally, pay attention to the quality of what you're adding to your coffee - organic sugar and milk tastes better and makes for a better coffee experience.  I personally use heavy cream (no sugar for me), which makes for a super-rich and creamy cup of deliciousness :)

  5. A clean pot, very cold water and freshly ground coffee are key!  Use only a quality brand half and half if you like your coffee light.

  6. I believe I'm drinking it right now, but then you'd have to ask my wife how she made it.

  7. Start with fresh, cold water and grind whole coffee beans as you need them.

  8. Open your mouth, Place one heaped spoon of instant coffe in, two or three lumps of suger, approx 1/2 a pint of boiling water swill around mouth until tougue is completely red raw, spit all of the mixture into a mug add cream and serve to your teacher LOL

  9. Filter it. Heat the pot first. Buy the best coffee beans and just grind what you need.

  10. go to aroma joes hazelnut with cream and sugar yumm =] if you have one near you

  11. 1 scoop coffee - 2 cups water = perfect coffee

  12. the way you like it
