  1. Ensalada?

Well, I live in Latin America and for what I know, Ensalada is not a drink, That's salad

  2. Refresco de Ensalada

    1 mamey

    • 1 small pineapple

    • 3 marañones

    • 1 green apple

    • 5 oranges

    • sugar

    • salt

    • 10 glasses of water

    Chopped Lettuce or watercress

Peel and chop up the mamey, the pineapple and the green apple. Squeeze 2 marañones and chop up the third one and squeeze the oranges too. Add a pinch of salt and let it stand for one hour. Add the lettuce or watercress and the water and let it cool. Enjoy!

  3. Well, ensalada or salad is a mixture of vegetables so I guess the drink ensalada is a mixture of many things! I have asked my 2 salvadorean friends who live in the States and they have no clue about this drink.

  4. If it's what I am thinking of, it is made of pineapple and orange juice with chopped fruit. Normally, the fruits are apples, marañon, mamey, and watercrest. Some of this may be difficult to get, if you live where it is not grown or imported.

Sorry if some english is wrong. I am still working.

  5. very easy but NOBODY in the U.S. can make the real ensalada! the real one is found in el salvador and only in el salvador. well eensalada is a mixture of either fruits OR veggies... You can chop them up and put them in a cup of water.. mix itfor about 1 min each and let it stay there for 10 min or so ! for further info, contact me

  6. it's called ensalada de fruta. most of the girls have the recipe pretty close to the real thing. hmmm i could go for one right now, with some pupusas de queso con loroco, yuca frita and casamiento. oh and a atole de elote, hmmmm.

  7. happy face....good recipe..... just one problem. You can't get maranone outside of El Salvador!?

I would rather have pupusas anyway!
