  1. You could melt some chocolate chips and pour them into a mold and add some sticksand make lollies like that. They can eat them after they harden. Also they can help by adding the sticks.

Another thing is melting chocolate chips and adding coconut and almond slices and roll into balls after you mix it. It is a kind of "Almond Joy" They could help by pouring in the coconut and almonds and then rolling the balls.

There are many cookies that are great to make with kids too. I hope that this helps you. Good luck!

  2. buy a variety of candies such as m&m's, skittles, suggerdaddys, starburst ,oreos, chocolate chips cookies, and 2 kinds of ice cream such as  vanilla and choclate and make a buffet out of it, let them add thier own toppings. Don't forget the kisses.

  3. well try making yema a delicacy here in the Philippines children love em. and they are made up of mostly milk so very healthy

the basic recipe is just very easy but there are many variations. http://www.ex-designz.net/recipedisplay....

  4. I've had good success with Alton Brown's recipes. Lollies and hard candy aren't easy to make because everything needs to be super clean, you need to have an accurate thermometer, and it's a pain to handle hot sugar syrup. It's worth it in the end, but the procedure isn't very kid-friendly, unless you supervise them very closely, and you're the only one who handles the hot liquid.

Fudge, jelly candy, taffy, and marshmallows are really easy to make, and you can make them in different shapes and colors. Here're some links to recipes that have worked for me.
