I have a bet with my friends. We have to see who can eat the spoonfuls of salsa without drinking or anything

  1. You could add milk/sour cream/yogurt, but I think they might notice a difference in colour.

  2. Anything with a high fat content will help relieve the sting.  Cheese or avocado cut into small chunks will do the trick, and it sounds as if it might be okay to eat something BEFORE the salsa; just don't swallow very much.  Icky, but effective.  If you are all tasting the same salsa, be sure to get your spoonful of salsa very carefully so you can avoid the chile seeds.   Once the bet is over, don't drink water; that just spreads the pain around.  Again, go for the high fat.  Good luck.

  3. Homer Simpson coated his mouth with wax...

  4. be sneaky and put cubes of cheese in your mouth chew it up with the salsa! that is SO awful .,,,

  5. try to remove the jalapeno seeds because they're the hottest part of the pepper, also try to avoid jalapenos all together if you can

    best of luck
