How do you make wire and beaded silverware?

My sister did this and it is truly elegant.  It does take some practice, so be patient.

Find jewelry wire that will match or complement your silverware.  Remember that the prettier the beads, the prettier the outcome.  Don't use plastic.  You'd hate it and it would be a waste of time.  Try to randomly wind the wire, and beads around the spoon, each wrap doesn't have to have a bead, that's part of the "random".

When you have enough wraps around the handle, cut the wire, and file or sand the end.  Tuck it under the wrapped wire, and voila, you have a lovely serving piece!

Try this with wine glasses or water goblets!

If you make a set, try to keep the same color scheme on each piece.  (All green beads, on one, all red on another, et cetera.)
