How do you make yahoo group posts unmoderated?

Question

I want members messages to just go straight in without my having to moderate and approve them all.

About a month ago I went into "Management" and changed the setting to "unmoderated" and saved the new setting. It didn't work, all the messages still come to me for approval !

I tried it again today.. didn't work again, the messages are still coming and won't post until I approve them.. don't know what do do next! AAAARRGH ! HELP !!!!

what you did a month ago will only affect those who joined there after that change.for those members prior to that change, you have to go to each individual member and unmoderate them.

this is not a glitch in the system, it's how Yahoo works.

contacting customer care wont help and they'll tell you the same thing

you need to click edit membership below each moderated members ID (this can be done when their moderated post comes through, on the approval page as well) scroll down to the bottom of page and click  Posting Messages:    Override: This member's posts are always moderated (Edit) <-- clcik edit- next page bottom select Use current group message posting setting OR Messages posted by this member are not moderated- click save changes
