There seem to be all kinds of ways to make this popular drink. I'd like to hear what you think are the best ways to mix it.

  1. Long Island Ice Tea:

    1/2 oz. Vodka

    1/2 oz. Light Rum

    1/2 oz. Gin

1 oz. Triple Sec (Cointreau or Grand Marnier work here too)

    2 oz. Sour Mix

    1 oz. Cola

    Lemon Wedge garnish

I don't put Tequila in mine...

  2. mis equal parts vodka, gin, tequila, rum and triple sec with

1 1/2 parts sour mix and a splash of cola.

Close variants often replace the sour mix with sweet and sour mix or with lemon juice, and the cola with actual iced tea

  3. I don't put tequila and triple sec, instead I put Cointreau. I like it a lot better like that.

Put equal parts of Vodka, Gin, Rum, Cointreau and 1 1/2 part sweet and sour mix in a glass filled with ice. Stir it and top with Coke or Pepsi.

  4. 1 oz. each of the white liquors; rum, gin, vodka, tequila, & triple sec.  1/2 oz. sweet & sour.  Pour all over ice & top with a splash or two of cola.  Garnish with lemon.

I have had people ask me to omit the tequila... say they like it better that way.
