How do you make your braces on today?

i just got my braces on today and i can barley eat. how do i make them stop hurting?

  1. you can take sum pain killer but there really isnt much u can do but wait it out


  2. I don't know if there are any pain-killers for your teeth, but I had soup, yogurt, mash potatoes, and any other soft foods when my teeth were sore after my braces were tightened.

  3. Take a painkiller. Eat soft foods such as pudding, mashed potato's, applesauce, soup, etc. Cold helps try ice cream. Your teeth  will hurt about a week or so. It can take a few weeks before you are fully comfortable with the braces, the inside of your mouth will probably be sore for a while as well.

  4. take tylenol or advil and eat soft foods like smoothies and yougurt

  5. Well first i got to say you are going to have great teeth, because i have braces. But i forgot what i take to make my teeth stop hurting.

  6. take advil and wait out the pain. witch is like a week.

    and the pain eventually goes away

    but the first coulpe days you have to CONSTANTLY keep Advil in you.

    Also you will not be able to eat the first day, maybe not the second either.

    I suggest eat some softer foods such as soup, mashed potatoes, yogurt or stuff like that.


  8. on the first day, take an advil, asprin, motrin, or ibeprofin. then eat some soup with no chunky things in it (potatoes, carrots, chicken etc.) and stick to tomato or cream of mushroom (soft soups.) then eat some of your favorite flavor of ice cream. it act as a yummy ice pack. then take one of the pain killers described above on every day it hurts after words. i hope you feel better soon!

    eat some mashed potatoes if ur hungry, or something that soft:)

  10. take some pain medication, and eat like yogurt, puddin, ice cream, mash potatoes, beans, things that are easy to eat.

    eat soft foods like bannans soups

    and drink smooties and shakes

    it will go away in about 2 weeks (:
