How do you make your leg muscles stronger?

please make the workout an hour or less, since I have school. I want to run faster.

  1. Physical exercise can make your legs stronger


  2. By doing leg excersises.There are multiple ways of doing this....squats are a good way too.And with the excersise equiptment out there now days its a sinch!There are many things that will help...think what makes you feel the burn the most?Walking/jogging/running will also help.

  4. Two times a week do heavy dead lifts or squats or leg press, calf raises and hamstring curls. Continue to run under distance sprints along with your strength training. By far the most important thing for faster running is strength/support force at ground contact so you don't collapse at the ankle, knee and hip.

  5. For speed strength run 300's 200's and 400's give yourself about 2 min. recovery(20 min)

    For Distance Strength run 3-4 miles as fast as you can WITHOUT stopping.(40 min)
