How do you make your own JPG images?

I'm a member at http://hokagesroom.com and I have a mission to make a business card that is 216 x 144 pixels.

you need a photo program.

There is a freeware program that can be downloaded called GIMP.  It is very good and comparable to photoshop.  It can be downloaded at www.gimp.org.  When you save the file all you have to do is change the file extension (.jpg) to .jpg or .jpeg.   The also have some tutorials online fi you google it.  Hope this helps.

You can make JPG images using simple image editing software such as Paint (Windows). But if you're making a business card, publishing software such as MS Publisher and Word may do better.
