How do you make your yahoo group come up in searches on Yahoo groups?

If your group is new, it will take up to a week for it to show up in group searches.  If it is older than a week, check your group settings to make sure you selected that you wanted your group to be listed in the Y! Groups Directory. Here is how to do that:

Sign in to your group.

On the home page, click on "Edit" to the right of "Description".

On the page that comes up, click on "Edit" to the right of "Description".

Scroll down near bottom to "Listing Type".  If  "Listed in Yahoo! Groups directory" is not selected, click on the little circle in front of that.

Click "Save Changes".

It will take a week or so for it to show up in group searches, so be patient.
