  1. Put on a piece of beautiful music. Get a pet. Dogs are excellent to put you in a pleasant mood. They are loyal and have unconditional love.


  2. I actually prefer to be alone, so being lonely isn't a problem unless the kids have been at grandmas or something for awhile, but i normally just read or write to feel better (or sometimes get on here and spit whatever it is I'm drinking on my monitor--that's always a pick me upper).

  3. I don't do anything. I'm quite comfortable with myself.

  4. I'm always alone, best I can do is be on the phone or the computer. I also find so much peace these days, I like the quiet.

  8. The absolute worst loneliness I've felt was last year when Tyler was away at boot camp.There was nothing that could make me feel better.

    I still get lonely for him, but I've adjusted and I can always watch his videos on youtube!

    Other than that my life is full.

  11. This is such a well worthy question! What I do is generally take a hot bubble bath, with a glass of wine, take in my portable radio, soak in the suds, drink my wine listen to my smooth jazz!

    When done with that pour myself another glass on wine, check out the tv movies, if nothing on, then will watch recorded episodes of the X Files or earlier recorded movies! After watching whatever I have watched will get on my computer, it is my friend! Would be lost without it! Ranks right up there with my bubble bath wine, and music! As you know variety is the spice of life so sometimes it is wine, music and the computer!

    When on the computer either I am in Yahoo or doing some poetry of my own! Would be interested in knowing what you do when your feeling lonely!

    Go to our place of worship, masjid.

    cook, bake, or clean.

    organize cabinets, shred documents, etc.

    talk on the phone.

    watch TV

    exercise to music or dance.

    go shopping.

    lastly bite my nails or play with my hair. lol

    @how can I forget to say, I hang on the net.

    And write anything, journal entries, songs, poetry, dreams, etc.

  13. Drive...far.  That's very therapeutic for me, especially when I get away from the cities, and into some beautiful country.
