i was wondering how do you manage your own restaurant and be a head chef?

what do you do when you manage one?

how much would it cost for the land and the building?

would you make a profit or get in det??

  1. I think you should start off just doing one thing at a time. First start off being a chef, you have plenty of time to own your own restaurant. Go to a really good culinary school and find a job so you can get experience and save up some money. The reason I say do that first is so that you'd already have a great skill. Restaurant managers schedule the staff, set the menu (if they own the restaurant), purchase perishable items, etc (this is why I say it's tough to do both).

    You don't have to buy the land and the building. You can lease them, which is like renting the space. It takes about two years for a restaurant to become profitable, so you may go into debt before you start making a profit. There are lots of factors that go into a successful restaurant.
