  1. at work we're supposed to use jiggers but when the boss isn't looking i just eyeball it in the glass

  2. 1/2 an ounce is a 2 count, 4 count for a full ounce.

  3. you can use a jigger to determine your count.  there is no set pour count due to the variances in pour spouts. at one job i use a 3 count at the other a 5 count. test with a jigger if not available use a standard shot glass. normally 1.5 oz

  4. Depends on how you count. For me i count to 12 as fast as I possibly can. Best way to figure it out. Fill an empty liquor bottle with water. put a liquor pour-er on it. Put a shot glass out, and count how long it takes you to fill it in whatever style you like, then you will know. Do it like 3 or 4 times to get a good idea of how to count it. Do what works for you, not anyone else, unless the owner wants it done a certain way.

  5. For a three count in my head I go " 1 and 2 and 3 and" and thats my 3 count.  Any good drink has at leat 4 ;)
