  1. Covered something about possibility in maths where 1 is certain and 0 is no with all the individuals ideas about how likely it is being regulated somewhere in between.

  2. Something wheather is impossible or not. There are no measures.

  3. mmm impossibility is an extreme entity, if you can measure it, it will technically not be impossible anymore, just less possible, right? you can measure possibility tho

  4. Impossible is subjective.

If you think walking using hands is impossible, the list of things (as said earlier) that limits you from doing that is the measure.

If you could answer why it is impossible, that list is the measure and it is again subjective.

  5. You could work out the probability of something

    "Chance"

    example,

a class of pupils say about 20 of them, only 1 can go onto a school trip,

you have a 1 in 20 chance of being chosen

you could say that if it was one person in the entire school of 600 pupils that you have a 1 in 600 chance,, unlikely to be chosen,,, impossible :P

  6. Very simply, nothing is impossible.

  7. Impossibility does not concern us........ we just need to keep away from it. Therefore there is no need to measure it even if that were to be feasible. Mathematically, impossibility equals zero probability. It can thus be illustrated through meaningless examples like if a coin has two sides A & B, then the probability of a toss bringing up neither A nor B is zero. Impossibility has no real use for us.

  8. By the amount of effort put into attempting to accomplish a task, until it's decided that it's impossible, or unfeasible.

  9. you can't. it's impossible

  10. It is the length and breadth of the measure of one's own sleep/ignorance/dream state...one's point of focus frames the fences or boundaries of what one deems possible.

  11. To measure of weigh measure of impossibility is to take all associated and contributory factors together, all arguments for and against, any conceivable circumstances likely to arise. With all factors taken into consideration one can evaluate the unlikelihood of a certain occurrence arising or result happening.

The tool to measure impossibility if reason, scientific, philosophical or empirical evidence.

  12. do I have to?

  13. Simple, by your failures!

  14. By measuring the time and resources put into finding a solution divided by possible solutions.

i.e. 80 bajillion dollars and God only knows how many hours put into finding life on Mars, something like 17 Googleplex  divided by zero, divide by zero error.  Answer: NO, or infinite impossibility.

    (Time x Resources)/(possible solutions) = Impossibility

  15. Using the list of failures!

  16. By looking at a leaf and comparing it to a tree.

  17. I would imagine two impossible things have an equal chance of being improbable, therefore making it impossible in the first place. i think
