  2. Poor some water in a beaker, say 100ml. Then put the potato in the beaker with the water. Next mark where the water has risen from the pressure of the potato. Then take the potato out of the beaker and poor more water up to the mark. Next poor all the water from the beaker in the measuring cylinder, say we had ended up with 150ml of water. Then we'de take away the amount of water we began with, in this case 100ml. So you're left with 50ml of water this is the volume of the potato.
