  1. any good salesman should be able to help you but the way my family figures it out is to hold it up to our chin... it should match up perfect!

  2. Take your shoe size and multiply it by your street address.

  3. i have one thats up to my chest and it works fine for me.

  4. Board size isn't just determined by height. Weight and skillz also need to be considered.

Assuming you're average weight the general range for a board is collarbones to eyes.

If you're a beginner rider you will want to choose a shorter board so that you can turn more easily. If you're a park rider you'll want a shorter board too. Probably just below chin length for both of those situations.

If you're an advanced rider or mostly going to be riding in powder then you'll want a longer board, about mouth height or a taller.

A few centimeters don't make a huge difference (if you're not a super experienced rider) so don't sweat too hard when you're making your choice.

Head into some board shops - not just sports stores - and spend a few minutes chatting with the employees about what your options would be. At these kind of stores they usually employ riders who will give you the best advice. They should be starting to get things on sale and make sure to ask if there are any sales, this time of year they're often willing to knock the price down to move a board.
