How do you mend a breaking friendship?

I told someone else something my best friend told me. Ishe didnt tell me this in confidence, it was just a minor thing. But that person told my friend..Now my best friend hasnt called and Im paranoid that she's angry with me and nver wants to see me again. I really want to call her, but too scared shes going to hate me. We are both in our late 20's..so Im guessing we should be mature enough to deal with this.

Please advise me.. I have no other friends like her.

Ive put this in Psychology coz I really need to understand the psychology behind a good friendship.

  1. talk to her in the best way you can...

Everything can be solve in properway...I know that if you explain well she might understand it...Be mature...Friends are not easy to be found  From tons of needles.Dont text him /her talk to her in personal .Remember time can heal alll wounds

  2. i totally agreee with memre with almost everything she said except the part were she said call her

i think u should go visit her and tell her how much her friendship means to u, tell her how ur life would be without her and without ur advise without her being next to u

and i think u should give her some time and space to think it out and u should also learn from ur mistakes coz it may have seemed to be something minor to u but it wasnt to her

and its gonna take her sometime to forgive u but if u were really her bestfriend then she would have to forgive u

me and my bestfriend have been best friends for 15 years now we r completely inseprable we understand each other without even saying things out loud and i do also believe that finding a true friend is really hard so tell her how much she means to u :)

  3. If you sit around and continue to be afraid of calling her, then you're at a loss.  She may be waiting for your call.  If she is your best friend, tell her what you just told us in your question.  Best friends are hard to find.  I've hand mine for 45 yrs and I would be lost without her.  Go ahead, give it a try,  You don't want this to go by without at least trying.  Good luck.  I hope she understands

EDIT Thank Yara, and I know Yara is correct,  You should go visti her instead.  It's more meaningful
