I want to move to ontario in a couple of years and I was just wondering how to go about doing it. Currently I'm a cook, with a cooking diploma and I'm working on an associates in business. (I hope to have the degree before I'm ready to move there)

  1. 1) You pack all of your stuff on a truck, drive up to the border and then scream "GET ME OUT OF THIS .........ING COUNTRY".

    2) Dress up like your Chinese and then tell the border guard that you're heading for Vancouver. They will presume that you're a native and will let you right in.

    3) Tell them that you're from Quebec and that you tried to live in America but your ice rink melted and your neighbor molested your pet moose. The border guard will sympathize with you and let you right in.

    4) Tell them that you are a refugee fleeing the war on terror.

  2. Canada has an immigration point system that basis your qualifications to migrate there, an Associates degree usually is bare minimum, IDeally a Bachelors degree would do the trick, but that doesnt mean its over, if you have some relatives north then chances do increase, plus having a job lined up is even better.

  3. skilled worker

You need to have at least 1 years work experience in your chosen field before you can apply.
