  1. well first of all you have to fall off at leeast 7 times to be a good rider...well thats what im told by everyone at my riding school:P this is because you have more experience in falling which helps you learn what not to do :) after this it becomes harder for you  to fall off because you know what to do to counteract it and avoid falling :)

ask youre instructor how you are doing and if it comes easier to you you must be better ...the rate you progress will give you some idea. when youre not riding you can practice youre foot position on stairs and steps so that you have balance...

will know youre better when it begins to get easier and your instuctor givesw you more challenges :)

    hope i helped x

  2. They say a good rider has good posture and poise but i say you have to fall of at least 7 times.

  3. well, you don't fall off the horse for a start

  4. I am glad you like riding. You know your a good rider when you have fallen a few times (at least), and your not afraid to fall. You can also groom, and tack up yourself. A good rider would also be able to tell when there is somthing wrong with the horse. Even if it as small as a pice of saw dust under the saddle.

A good rider will also live by these quotes:

“A good rider can hear their horse speak. A great rider can hear their horse whisper, but a bad rider won't hear his horse even if it screams at them.”-Unknown

“The canter is a cure for all evil” Benjamin Disraeli

“Riding: The art of keeping a horse between you and the ground”-Unknown

“It is not enough for one to know how to ride; they must know how to fall”-Mexican Proverb

“No hour of life is wasted that is spent in the saddle”-Winston Churchill

    “Feeling down? Saddle up!”-Unknown

“To me horses and freedom are synonymous.”-Veryl Goodnight

“Horses lend us the wings we lack”-Unknown

“The horse is God's gift to mankind” Arabian Proverb

“God forbid that I should go to any heaven where there are no horses”-R.B Cunningham Graham

“A horse is worth more than riches”-Spanish Proverb

“There is no secret so close as that between a rider and their horse”-Robert Smith Surtees

  5. ""Experience"" I am so surprised no one said it ,,

It's not how you look, its how much you Know

Take lessons and continue to learn

    It's hard work

But You said you love it

so keep doing it with a good trainer,,

    Good luck

  6. Easy.A good horse rider doesnt fall off lol

  7. You will realise that horse riding is not quite as easy as it looks, by now.

I hope you continue to enjoy riding and only the experience of falling off will give you the first thoughts of what sort of rider you are.

Always be kind to your horse and treat it as you would a friend.  The horse will 'warm' to you and your enjoyment will be all the better for your consideration.

  8. you don't really no but i agree horse ridding is brilliant you get better the longer you stay doing it
