How do you no if your parakeet is pregnant?

if u have cuttlebone she will chew away all or most of it, she will focus on eating more, and she will chew anything wooden, if she has a nestbox or something like it she will mainly stick around there and maybe add some stuff like paper or pieces of perches to the inside,  keep a close eye on her and goodluck!  check out http://parrotcentral.net/ for more bird info

Birds do not accually become pregnant. They are egg layers. The only place they accually get larger is if they are going to lay an egg within a day they will have a slight bulge under the tail at the vent.
