I kept the books a few years ago for the college that I work for and they need me to help them. I just need to be refreshed.

  1. I could explain it, but this will be a lot easier for both of us.  The first link is the complete manual for keeping score and the second link is a video demonstration on how to keep score.

    Good luck!

  2. The PAVO web site has a PowerPoint video.  You can access it at http://pavo.org/currseason.html about half way down the page under Fundamental Scorekeeper Training.  If you do not have PowerPoint, you can download a free viewer at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...

The training link does not reflect any changes for 2007.  It does not matter.  There are none that I have heard for the scorekeeping.  Probably the main change as far as you are concerned is that the Libero can serve.  All you will need to do is put a triangle around the big number (1-6) of the serving order and instead of a circle for the server, you will use a triangle.  Another tip to remember is that in the NCAA sheet, you will need to make sure that you rotate the receiving team to make the right front as your first server.  You will also want to make sure that the school has the latest scoresheet.  I worked a match Friday with an old scoresheet.  I informed the officials that the team had used all 12 of their subs and he said "so" and went on.  I forgot.  They changed it to 15 several years ago.  I would take new copies just in case.  You will find them at http://pavo.org/score.html

  3. umm it would be easier to exxplain with the sheet but um u have to keep track of who is serving and the time outs and subsitutes and points which run thro the middle and u cross out the servers u just right down at the bottom how many points they served and when they stop serving and the subditutes u just cross out the # of the player they are going in for and right the new # and time outs u ust right down the score and who called the time out
