  1. Just go on one.  Like someone said, the worst bit is the queueing.  Go on one like Nemesis at Alton Towers because its built low into the ground so you don't really think you are going up really high with a massive climb.  Also, look at one and just think, thousands of people have been on this coaster and survived!  They are built for safety.   When you get off one you wanna go straight back on!   Pepsi Max at Blackpool just seems to go up and up.  All you see is sea and sky, but what a ride!!!

  2. Start off by going on small ones and slowly go on bigger ones.

Also sit with some one you know. I did.

  3. get on one with a friend

  4. Jump on one! Worked for me? But the longer the line the more I worried but then I was on I seemed to be like 'Oh well, like I can get off now?'

    Now I LOVE them.

    Stay calm.

    Breathe?

Just keep your mind off it?

  5. Here's a small list of steps on how to overcome your fear of roller costers.

    1. Take small steps toward your goal. Find out what rides you can take — what type of rides don't bother you and what rides make you nervous just watching them.

       2. Ride a small roller coaster that you are a little nervous about. It will usually only last a few seconds.

       3. Progress, slowly, into bigger or faster roller coasters like the one in the picture. (Joker's Jinx)

       4. Go with a friend that knows your situation, yet will be able to encourage you and give you confidence in getting on to the ride.

       5. When you find your limit, don't ride anything bigger unless you are ready to push your limits. It doesn't matter what everyone thinks of you; you found your comfort zone. If you're going on a loop, just look down at the ground of the seat. You'll feel like you're just going straight; keep your head against the cushion, though.

       6. Wait before you go on the old style, wood ones. They ride more bumpy and they look like they will fall apart.

       7. If it is your first time on a pretty scary one, don't sit at the front. This is because you can see what's going on, even if you look away.

       8. If you don't like the coaster you're on, and it's way too scary, just close your eyes, you'll be fine. Just think of it as fun and don't use your imagination too much because it will scare you. You know that you are going to live and you will eventually get off the ride safe as long as you follow the rules.

       9. And DON'T WORRY , you'll have FUN!

  6. I used to HATE roller coasters. I went on one with a good friend of mine and it ended up being really fun. Just try it!

  7. Just get your *** on one lol. Usually when I'm scared of amusement rides I just think to myself "These things are built and maintained by professionals". It's VERY, VERY rare for anything to go wrong. You're perfectly safe.

  8. Get on one, and don't look back. Try ones that have smooth tracks because if you try a wooden one you'll never go on a rollercoaster again.

Also, pick something you love out of a store. Have who ever your buy it for you only if you go on the scariest rollercoaster. (This worked for me with a handbag a Busch Gardens in Florida.)

  9. Go on the smaller rollercoasters first, and then gradually move your way up to the higher ones. Sit in the middle and not the aisle seats. And go on the ones that look safer, like the ones that support your feet.

Breathe when you are about to get on, and continue breathing as you sit. Try not to think about how high you are going, but laugh with the person next to you and enjoy the scenery.

One very important one:: SCREAM! It gets rid of nervess=)
