How do you pack?

I will be going to music camp in a college dormatory in 2 weeks. And when i went to camo last year...my suitcase was a disaster, and that wasonly for a week im going for 2 this time. I am planing on bringing one suit case and two bags of some sort. I need to fit as much in one bag as physically possible.

A couple suggestions:

-Pack only what you need; usually shorts and casual tops are all you'd need for clothes.  If I'm going on a trip I usually will pack by day/outfit and will try to economize as much as possible.

-There are plastic compression bags you can buy that will compress your clothes; you roll the bag and it sucks the air out, giving you more room in your bag.

-Try to pack things that, if possible, can be worn more than once, or can be worn with different things.

-Limit the number of pair of shoes as much as possible.  A pair of trainers and a pair of sandals should be enough, unless you have a dress-up night.

-Bring a couple plastic bags with you, they're good for sorting dirty clothes.

-Go through your shaving kit/washroom kit and only take what you need.  Think small, think space.

Pack outfits that you can mix and match so if there is a more formal event bring bottoms that you can switch with more casual bottoms to match with the same shirt.
