How do you package and shelve gunshot residue?

I am in CSI and the class that I am in, is Graphics and Documentation.

I found the gunshot residue but it doesn't really tell me how to package it or shelf it. And that is the exact question that I have to answer. I am not able to give much more than that because that is how it is asked to me.

I am sure you are asking about something valid here, but what I am reading is "shotgun residue", which is burnt powder and possibly the wadding cup, which would not be saved, packaged nor shelved.

Post an addendum and give me just a little bit more of what you are trying to find out and I will do my best to answer.
