How do you paint a chrome effect on an xbox 360 controller?

Question

I would like to get a chrome effect on my xbox 360 controller like I have seen elsewhere on the internet but I dont know how to get the effect. I know that using vinyl dye to paint the controller is a good idea I just dont know how to make it look chrome.

just remove or tape off the part you want to paint and use chrome spray paint, its only like a dollar at walmart dude!

*a $3 can of plasticoat will stay on,considering ts made for plastic. krylon makes a plastic spray too and if you arnt confident in that either clear coat the top. or use your vinyl ish
