How do you people deal with always pumping your own gasoline?

Er, wtf? I'm from New Jersey and I hate when I go out of state and have to pump my own gas! New Jersey prices are lower and we don't have to get out of the car.

Yeah I know the joke "I'm from Jersey I pump my fists not my gas", h**l I'll proudly pump my fists instead of my gas!

Do any other states (besides Oregon) even know what you are missing?

We are so d**n happy that our insurance rates are 1/3 what you people pay in NJ that pumping a little gas is painless.

I live in NY and often fill up my tank in NJ it is full service and much cheaper, go figure.

We don't find it a inconvenience as we always pumped our own gas in our state of California, but on my trip to Oregon i found out why i like to pump my own gas, i don't have to tip, i don't have to pay more, and I don't have to wait for the gasoline jockey to come around when i need to get somewhere. To answer the reason why you pay less for gasoline in comparison to California and New York is that both states use a different chemical form of gasoline to reduce emissions.

We used to have that here, but they quit that so long ago I can't even remember when it was. I'm so used to it now, it doesn't really bother me.

I travel abroad and there are gas stations where they pump your gas, wash your windows, get you food supplies, and even one where you could surf the Internet and book movie tickets. A full service gas-o-mall, and the gas is discounted!

I dont know.. I wouldnt want some stranger so much as touching my filler door and being careless while filling me up. Plus I would feel stupid as h**l to have someone else put $10 in my tank.

Just seems poinless. Cars already make people lazy enough.. now you cant even get out an pump your own gas without sitting in a chair and complaining about it on the internet. What in the heck is wrong with people?

There are 2 reasons why you dont pump your own gas in Jersey...... Rich Pompus jerks got the legislators to pass a law preventing you from pumping your own gas because it was beneath them to do it.......   THE other reason is there are a lot of stupid people in Jersey that cant figure it out -- Which one are you????

well, we hardly ever see that here (only at like 2 places) in california, but in Mexicali, Mexico, there are parts where they do. They even do the windows..front and back, and even the side ones if they're super dirty.

i think your just a little rich and spoiled, why i dislike jersey... i have relatives in jersey so i know what its like over there, but everyone is p***y compared to the people here in brooklyn. i pump my own gas and if feels good to not feel like an old lady =]
