How do you photograph a SOLAR eclipse?

P.S. I already know about mylar filters, time lapse and t-rings.

  1. You must useuse solar filter on your lense.

    With regular lense you must use either off-axis, or full-aperture filter, otherwise you might damage the camera and your eyes and even perminetly blindness.

    Even though the total eclipse is 99% coverage, the sun rays are still powerful enough to make you blind. Only during total sclipse are you safe to look straight at it.

    Use goggles.
