  5. I have an IR filter for my digital SLR, bought online from b+h photo.

  6. You've heard of Nikon?  That ain't the one. Get a Klingon camera with a black light flash.

  7. There are both black and white ( by Efke, Rollei, and Ilford) and color films sensitive to IR (Ektachrome Professional Infrared/EIR). Most of the time you also need an "infrared filter"; this lets infrared (IR) light pass through to the camera, but blocks all or most of the visible light spectrum (the filter thus looks black or deep red) or for the transparency film you may have to use a -blue (i.e., yellow) filter Follow the film manufacturers recommendations for filters

You can also do IR with digital cameras

  8. You use special IR film or spend $350 to $400 and have one of your DSLR's modified
