  1. just like you pick any other lock

but the way it's done that destroys your car is by just pulling the entire lock out all at once.

popping it out and making a nice hole in your trunk.

    try going through the backseat?

  2. Pay a locksmith. Single row locks are easy as taking a whiz. Double row locks are more difficult. Ace locks take a professional. The puzzle is to hold all the pins at their shearlines while the cylinder is rotated.

Why don't you do this? It's real easy: Drive to the dealer's service dept and have them punch a new key after you show the reg and you're the registered owner. That'll cost half as much as a locksmith, plus you only have to do it once.

  3. depending on the car they either have pins only on the top or pins on the bottom or both. if it only has either top or bottom its relatively easy with a lockpicking kit, just remember to be patient and make sure u hit all the pins. which i believe is typically 6 i think

  4. why?

  5. How to get in the trunk.  Take out the back seat back, there should be a hole to the trunk.  With that being seen, you can use a long handle or something with a screwdriver or hook taped on it to "pop" the trunk.  Then with the trunk open, you can replace, repair, or what ever you need to make it so that you can get into the trunk normally.

  6. V e r y Carefully, especially if it's Bubbas car. He never misses with that squirrel gun of his. LOL   Seriously, try removing the rear seat and going into the trunk that way. You can usually access the lock and open it with a screwdriver or pair of pliers from inside. Worst case just unscrew the latch from the inside of the trunk.

  7. They have universal kits available at your local auto parts stores.

  8. It all depends on the vehicle.  Whatever you do, don't start destroying things in a desperate situation. It just isn't worth it.

Did you lock your keys in there? Or did you loose the key?

Do you need to get into it right now, or can you wait a bit ?

I was just at the Jersey Shore last week and lost my Toytota

keys. My wallet was in the glove box. The windows were all open, even the sunroof, and a storm was passing.  I wound up almost tearing the glovebox door off but stopped. Waited

till the morning, found my keys in my sneakers. Life was back

to normal.  What I'm getting at here is , think it out rationally and it will work out. Tomorrow is Saturday , If you need a locksmith, call early or start it on your own early in the morning, by noon, nobody will really want to get involved.

    Good Luck to You....
