How do you pick a gun cabinet lock?

Unless you have a picking tool there is almost no way.  You might want to try the manufactrue of the case, with model and Ser # and they might be able to send you a new key.

if the key is lost, call a lock smith.

If it is a key lock, like a filing cabnit it can be picked with a bent paper clip and a tention wrench made with a big boby pin, but you need to know what you are doing. Most gun cabnits though have Ace locks ( the kind on a soda Machine), you don,t have the tools and can't buy them unless you are a locksmith. Your best bet is to call a locksmith or drill out the lock and replace it.
