I need some help. I love country music, I know pretty much anything you could name. I also love rock and oldies...but for the life of me I can' think of what songs to use for my wedding! I need one for my fiance & I, for my dad & I, him & His mom (he needs suggestions), for the bridal party, boquet tossing ( I have one I was thinking of...is it appropriate? Gretchen Wilson-Ain't you glad we ain't all California girls...we are alll from the country and not like the "california girls" not that theres anything wrong with them...we're just not like them) and one for the garter thing too...

Please no rude answers. Yes, I know I'm a redneck, hillbilly, farm girl and I'm okay with that so please...I'm getting married in 11 days, keep it polite. Thanks!

  1. We're having the same problem. It's hard to pick the right one sometimes. The wedding websites all pretty much have the same list of songs so there's really no help there. What I would suggest is to look up an artist you like and see if there's any songs that would be fitting. Also, you can look up a song you like the lyrics to, but not really the melody/genre of music that it's in. Often times multiple artists cover one song.

    Good Luck!

  2. We are having Lonestar's "Amazed" for our first dance, You could do Chad Wick's "Stealing Cinderella" for you and your dad, I can't honestly think of one for him and his mom, for the bridal party how about Queen "We are the champions/We will rock you", for the bouquet tossing we are using Cindi Lauper's "Girls just wanna have fun" and for the garter we are using Def Leapord's "Pour some sugar on me"

  3. "From here to eternity" by Michael Petersen

    "Thank you" by Tori AMos

"Can you feel the love tonight"

"From this moment on"  Shania Twain

"Remember me this way" Jordan hill

These are a few from my wedding.  I danced with my dad to the jordan hill song (its beautiful and hardly ever heard).  My husband danced with his mom to Celine Dion "Because you loved me".

I went through my entire cd collection and picked songs I liked, then I gave that list to the dj and told him to pick songs that were similar to them.

  4. I suggest Marys Song by Taylor Swift any of Taylor Swifts music is wonderful for weddings do try all her music I love Taylor Swift.
