How do you plant a marigold seed.?

They look like a dart, or a needle with a feather on the end.

Do what Mother nature does and just scatter them on the ground where you want them to grow and water..

Read the back of the package. I just make a row about an inch deep and put them in it. Cover them, give them some water and wait for them to grow. It's a little late in the year to plant them.

Poke the dart in the ground, leave the feather out of the ground.  surface water daily.

Germinate them on wet papertowel in a clear plastic bag.  When they begin to sprout transplant them.
