How do you plaster over electrical chasing and around sockets?

  1. put browning on over where the wires have been chased into the walls then when thats dry you can plaster over it unscrew the plug sockets and plaster behind them,


  2. not really understanding....there is an electrical box you want to cover over in order not to see it anymore?   If wires are still in it, then by code you can not do that because if u forget this there and u nail in the wall to hang something the nail will hit the wire and shock u....you need to beat the box out of the wall, cover the hole with a metal patch that u can find in the hardware store in the drywall section ...it self sticking so just stick it to the wall and cover with about 3 layers of drywall compound ....are there big gaps around the sockets? if so use drywall tape and skim coat over (2 or 3 coats)
